George Bollinger Report

The hateful letters to George Bollinger

(Intro),
George lived in New Zealand (Home Country), and his home town was Taranaki.                                                                         George Bollinger was injured in action in 1917 and hopefully not dead…

George Bollinger fundraised badges for specific battles or
Organizations.
Family and friends wore them at home.
George made it through a war in August 1914 WW1.
Parlament sent hateful letters to george but the army
Stayed on his side, so he was safe but not safe on the other hand.

George was an interesting person, most people didn’t like him.
And the catchphrase ‘He couldn't be trusted’.
He never smiled which was odd. He died two days later he got injured sadly, his brother died 1 year later and 8 cousins died fighting some allies in the Western front.
He got sent really hateful letters.

I would hate it if people sent me hateful letters in bad times,
It would keep my hopes down.
